Fidelius, the Bath-headquartered advisory firm, is delighted to announce a win at the Bath Life Awards 2026. The firm scooped the top accolade in the Legal & Financial business category. The judges commented: “Some year for Fidelius! Major growth and merger, significant client increases and a clearly dynamic business engine.”
The Bath Life Awards recognise outstanding achievements from local businesses in the Bath area, and are the annual business highlight of the city.
The judging panel this year included prominent business leaders from the local area, as well as the Deputy Mayor of Bath, Councillor Ian Halsall. The judges based their decisions on clear evidence of long-term business excellence, values including ESG, while also considering the quality of nomination, and testimonials. The winners were crowned at a sold-out event at the Bath Forum on 12 March.
Ian Fowler, Chief Executive Officer at Fidelius, said: “We are delighted to have won this award in a hotly-contested category. It means a lot to be recognised by business leaders in Bath, where we work hard to provide outstanding financial advice to the community.
“The judging panel highlighted the dynamism of Fidelius and what a strong year of growth we have had. It’s fantastic to see these achievements recognised. Thank you to the judges and congratulations to all the winners on the night.”
Fidelius’ nomination centred on its strong growth through its M&A strategy, including the merger with London‑based Timothy James & Partners, a minority investment in Leeds‑based Vobis Ltd, and securing the British Medical Association contract to support more than 200,000 members.
With Söderberg & Partners’ class‑leading technology enhancing its human‑led advice model, the group is helping advisers spend more time with clients while continuing its mission to become the UK’s most trusted adviser. Looking ahead, Fidelius is excited by the strength of its 2026 M&A pipeline, which is set to build on this momentum and support ambitions to retain its crown in 2027, while driving further award‑winning performance throughout the year.
